Natick, MA, November 13th, 2019; TapIn Mobile Solutions was delighted to welcome Head of African Business Development, Linus Wamanya to the company headquarters in the USA this week.
Linus is an open innovation advocate with over ten years experience in innovation management and creativity. He has designed and implemented tech innovation programs for leading organizations and countries such as World Bank Group, Special Olympics, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia and Botswana. He joined TapIn this past spring and has been the key driver in development of the TapIn Uganda Youth Football League which launched earlier this fall. During his visit Linus met with key staff in the development, legal, business development and marketing departments.
The TapIn Uganda Youth Football League now has over 100 teams registered for its inaugural season.
Scheduled to begin in early 2020, 133 teams have now been registered throughout the country with representation from Buganda, Eastern, Kampala, Kitara, Northern, West Nile and Western regions.
The TapIn Uganda Youth Football League will be Uganda’s first nationally based youth league. Endorsed and will be sanctioned by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). Registration, scheduling and statistics will all be powered via the TapIn App. The league will enable players, coaches and teams to compete in local 8 team bracket divisions for u6 to u18 competition. The league will include competition for boys and girls.
Through advanced technology and data analytics offered with the TapIn Enterprise League Platform, talented players across the country will be identified for national and international amateur and professional consideration.
Registration will remain open for the foreseeable future but teams and coaches are encouraged to download the TapIn app via the Google Play or Apple App store and begin registering their teams and players.
