Leadership Team Travels to Haiti

Boston, MA, August 5th, 2019; TapIn Mobile Solutions recently hosted a successful launch in Haiti as the company gears up for the start of its first national league, to begin in January 2020.

The Ligue Nationale De Football Des Jeunes D’Haiti (Haiti National Youth Football League) will be Haiti’s first nationally based league and will operate on the TapIn Mobile Solutions platform.  Endorsed and sanctioned by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF),  the league will enable players, coaches and teams to compete in local 8 team bracket divisions for u6 to u18 competition. The league will include competition for boys and girls.

Company founders Steve Schechter and Pedro Herivaux hosted a series of workshops and seminars throughout the country during their visit including representatives from the FHF.  Training was also held for Regional Managers who will oversee each of the league’s ten department championships and be responsible for league operations in their area. 

“The trip to Haiti was a fantastic success and it’s great to see the buzz that is developing around the league’s upcoming launch,” said Schechter.  “The trip presented the opportunity to touch base with all key stakeholders as we prepare for a busy onboarding period once registration opens in the coming weeks,” added Schechter.

Following kick-off in January, local bracket winners will compete each spring in department championship tournament play for each age and gender category U13 and above. Department champions will then compete each summer for national championships in Port Au Prince at the u16 and u18 ages.
