Port-au-Prince, Haiti, September 24th, 2019; TapIn Mobile Solutions, is pleased to announce Haitian International Frantzdy Pierrot as the second ambassador for the upcoming Ligue Nationale De Football Des Jeunes D’Haiti (Haiti National Youth Football League).
Born in 1995 in Cap-Hatien in the Nord department, Pierrot currently plays for French Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp. Pierrot made his debut for the Hatian national team in 2018 and has scored six goals in 14 appearances. Like our first league ambassador, Zach Herivaux, Pierrot was also a major part of the successful 2019 Gold Cup squad which reached the semi-finals this past summer. Pierrot scored both goals in the group stage 2-1 victory over Bermuda.
Pierrot also grew up in Massachusetts (USA) and played his youth soccer with the Seacoast United Development Academy. He played two years of college soccer at Northeastern University between 2014 and 2015 before transferring to Coastal Carolina University in 2016, where he played for another two years. Following his graduation he moved to Belgium where he played for Royal Excel Mouscron, prior to his move to France.
“This is a very important league whether you are a boy or girl and I am pleased to be an ambassador” said Pierrot. “If you aspire to one day play in the Haitian National team like me, you should join this league” said Pierrot.
The Ligue Nationale De Football Des Jeunes D’Haiti will be Haiti’s first nationally based league. Endorsed and sanctioned by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), the league will enable players, coaches and teams to compete in local 8 team bracket divisions for u6 to u18 competition. The league will include competition for boys and girls.
Coaches can now register their teams by downloading the app in the Google Play or Apple App Store. Registration will remain open until October 15th with the league starting competitive matches in January 2020.
