“I’m glad to join the first youth football league with a mission of social good to kids, I know where I came from and where I’m going and football has shaped my destiny. I will do all it takes to make sure the TapIn Uganda Youth Football League achieves its mission and vision,” said Onyango. “My solid message as Ugandan National football team captain is to encourage all Ugandans to bring children and play in the TUYFL so that talent can be identified at tender age. I will support each child in the league with goalkeeping capability, with gloves,” said Onyango.
